We are often our own worst enemies when it comes to being happy. We listen more to the negative voice in our head than we do the positive one. We listen to the voice that tells us that we messed up, that we are a failure and that we are not good enough. Negative or fearful thinking makes us worry and stops us trying new things. We stop accepting and loving ourselves and are often too scared to go after our dreams.

We learn to listen to this negative voice at a very early age. In fact, experts say that most of the beliefs that we have about ourselves are formed by the time we are 6 or 7 years old!
We passionately believe that one of the key reasons that so many children are anxious, depressed and self harming is because they have not learned to master their own mind. They listen to the negative voice in their head. They believe all that it has to say. They don't understand that they can learn to tell it to be quiet and to back off and that a thought is just that, a thought. What gives it power is the emotion we give to it and how much we focus on it... And unfortunately, most adults don't realise this either!
The app uses simple CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or "HappiTapping") and Mindfulness technique in a fun and engaging way, introducing children to the power of helpful thoughts and thinking positively through the Chimp and the "HappiTars".
